Among the group behind 21 Leap Avenue and its sequel 22 Leap Avenue are reuniting for a brand new “tongue-in-cheek thriller,” as Phil Lord and Chris Miller (Leap Avenue movies, The LEGO Film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) and star Channing Tatum are collaborating on a film “impressed by Common’s traditional monster legacy.”
Per Deadline, Lord and Miller will produce whereas Tatum produces and stars in an untitled monster undertaking that can be a modern-day, comedic tackle a number of of Common’s traditional creatures (suppose Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, The Mummy, and many others). The complete plot particulars are being stored underneath wraps for now.
Reid Carolin (producer on Magic Mike and Channing Tatum’s directorial debut, Canine) had the unique thought for the undertaking and wrote the remedy. Wes Tooke (Halfway) is writing the script.
